Master’s Degree – Nursing

This master’s degree program prepares the nurse for advanced practice. The student may choose between a clinical or educational focus. The clinical track prepares the graduate to write the certification examination for family nurse practitioner (FNP). The educational track prepares the graduate for a teaching role in nursing education programs. In addition, nurses with a master’s degree in nursing may enter the program to complete a flexible post master’s certificate which qualifies the graduate to take the FNP certification examination.
