The Associate in Applied Science Degree Nursing Program prepares graduates to provide and manage client care and to become members within the discipline of Nursing. Graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The Associate in Applied Science Degree Nursing curriculum is organized around a clearly defined conceptual framework which combines general education and nursing education. The nursing education courses correlate classroom and clinical instruction in a variety of community agencies. Students may be required to do morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend clinicals, depending on the clinical schedules. Students will be rotated through various hospitals and health care facilities. Progression in the program is contingent upon achievement of a grade of "C" or better in each biological science, and mathematics course and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or better. 

The Associate Degree Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission of Accreditation. Graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination to become registered nurses. 

Enrollment in the program is limited and admission is based on a selective admissions process. The applicant's ACT/ CPP scores, GPA of previous college work and courses taken in the nursing curriculum are considered.
