| Associate in Science: Transfer Program General Education Requirements The Associate in Science is awarded to community college students who satisfactorily complete a minimum of 60 hours, including the general education core requirements, with a grade-point average of at least 2.0 (C). As a transfer student, you will be enrolled in an associate of science degree program. To meet requirements and to establish a solid foundation for additional study, you will be required to take general education courses in writing, communications, mathematics, humanities, heritage, foreign language, computer literacy, social interaction, and science.
