Students planning a career as a physician assistant may complete their pre-professional course work at NKU. They may then apply for admission to and, if accepted, transfer to an institution offering a physician assistant program. At the earliest opportunity, student should schedule an appointment with a faculty advisor to discuss minimum requirements. The plan presented at NKU is designed to comply with the physician assistant program of the University of Kentucky. Other universities are likely to have different requirements that students will need to become familiar with very early in their academic work.
