Program Description The Medical Office Technology program provides students with the knowledge and skill necessary to perform a variety of administrative and secretarial duties as they relate to the health care setting. Students will develop an understanding of medical terminology, medical records, case histories, and the proper formatting of these documents. The medical office technology program is comprised of four areas of specialization. These areas are Medical Insurance Billing Specialist, Medical Transcriptionist, Medical Records Specialist, and Medical Office Assistant.
