pathology. Speech-language pathology is an education/health-related profession whose practitioners work in schools,
hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and clinics. There is a critical
shortage of speech-language pathologists, and jobs are plentiful in Kentucky and
in most parts of the United States. Education Required The pre-professional Bachelor of Science degree with an area in Communication Disorders requires a total of 128 semester hours. These include 48 hours in the major. Professional employment requires a master's degree. |
