The medical office assistant program is designed to prepare the graduate for job-entry level employment as a Medical Office Assistant for service with the medical profession and/or industry. Required courses include word processing, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and computer fundamentals. In order to refine technical skills, training is further enhanced through internships and co-op assignments at area medical facilities.
