| The nursing curriculum consists of
classroom theory, laboratory practice, and supervised clinical
experience. Graduates from the nursing program are eligible to write the
National Council Licensure Examination to become a Licensed Practical
Nurse. The LPN, under the direction or supervision of the registered
nurse, physician or dentist, provides direct nursing care in a variety
of settings. These include both acute and long-term care
facilities, clinics, schools, home health, industrial, and
rehabilitation agencies.
