| Practical Nurse
The nursing curriculum consists of classroom theory, laboratory practice, and supervised clinical experience. Graduates from the nursing program are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. The LPN, under the direction or supervision of the registered nurse, physician or dentist, provides direct nursing care in a variety of settings. These include both acute and long-term care facilities, clinics, schools, home health, industrial, and rehabilitation agencies. Additional Certificate Available: Medicaid Nurse Aide |
