Associate in Applied Science Degree Radiography

The Associate in Applied Science Degree in Radiography prepares graduates to become radiographers, who are qualified to administer ionizing radiation for medical diagnostic imaging purposes. Radiographers typically find positions in hospitals, health clinics and physicians’ offices.

The Radiography program places emphasis upon radiation protection and quality patient care. The curriculum is comprised of specialized courses in radiography along with concentrated study in the basic sciences, mathematics and other general education courses. Graduates of the program are eligible to write the examination for registration as a radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
