This is a two year nationally accredited nursing program leading to licensure as a REGISTERED NURSE. Upon completion of the educational program, the graduate is eligible to take the licensure exam to become a registered nurse and is prepared to work as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings. Admission to the program is competitive. As a graduate of the Associate Degree Program and a RN, the graduate is also eligible to enter the Post-RN program at WKU to complete their baccalaureate degree in nursing if desired.
