Radiography Program

The curriculum consists of classroom study in radiography, math and science, as well as actual laboratory experience in a clinical setting. The skills and knowledge necessary to assist a radiologist in the use of x-ray and other radiation sources in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases are the core of this program. Graduates of this program are prepared to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' Examination in radiography.

The Radiography Program at Bowling Green Tech consists of instruction in specialized courses in radiography along with concentrated study in basic science, mathematics, and communication skills.

In addition to the classroom theory and laboratory practice, students receive clinical experiences in a hospital setting. Radiography prepares students to take the American Registry Examination in Radiography, and upon successful completion of the examination, to use the title of Registered Technologist (Radiographer) and to be employed as a Radiographer.
