| Licensed Practical Nurse (1 1/2 year program) A graduate of the program is prepared for employment as a beginning practitioner of nursing and functions under the direction of the registered nurse, doctor, or dentist. The practical nurse has job opportunities in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics home health care, and doctor offices.
